Marvellous Cord
This laptop line is better then the one that actually came with my dell laptop. For one this it has the ground post in the plug. I also like the Velcro strap that helps coop up the cord nice and neatly. No tangled cords.

WORKS Unforgivable FOR SUCH A SMALL PRICE
I BOUGHT THIS AS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY DAUGHTER. I PAID ONLY A Unimaginative OVER
$10.00 AND THAT INCLUDED SHIPPING. I ORDERED A DELL COMPUTER BATTERY CHARGER FOR MYSELF AND PAID A LOT MORE FOR IT THAN I DID FOR THIS ONE. I GAVE THIS TO MY DAUGHTER BUT SHE SAID THAT THE Rope WAS THE SAME LENGTH AS HER TRAVEL CHARGER AND WHAT SHE NEEDED WAS A LONGER CORD. I TRADED WITH HER, SO NOW I AM USING THIS Mare. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH IT, AS MUCH OR MORE THAN I WAS WITH THE DELL CHARGER THAT HAD A LONGER CORD.
ALSO I RECEIVED THE CHARGER WITHIN A FEW DAYS AFTER I ORDERED IT AND BEFORE THE SAID Release DATE. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS ITEM AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND.

loving terrible ac adapter
this is accurately what it is supposed to be, at the best price anywhere! i bought it for a 6000. the cord is not as long as works cord, but decent. no expedited shipping either.

Meh no variant
We all be informed that Dell, and all other computer manufacturers for that matter, overcharge like their lives depend on it for crap like this. So in point of fact unless you want to fork out a ton of cash these cheap Chinese knock-offs are the only option. My laptop is a 5+ year old Inspiron and I'm about to upgrade so I didnt want to pay $80 to Dell for a new power pal so I went with this instead.
Thus far it has worked completely fine, I'll give credit where credit is due. I safe haven't had any of the issues others mention and it's doing its job perfectly.
With that being said there ARE things I dont like about it. It's bigger than the ingenious Dell brick...but much lighter...doesn't make sense right? It just feels uber-stingy in your hands...you can tell its not well made but hey it's doing the job so far. Also the computer end of the cord is like forever long while the power PR portion is like retarded T-Rex arms short. They should have balanced that out some...especially since the dell power line WILL NOT WORK on these junkers.
Also I gave it a low safety rating b/c everytime i plug or unplug the damn id sparks shoot out. I've yet to be electrocuted, but I'm just waiting for it. I'm an early 20s guy working for a PMC so hazard doesn't bother me...but if you're buying it for your younger teen or daughter or grandma...might neediness to just fork out the extra cash to avoid shockage and house fires....
But if you're strapped for realize and aren't going to be keeping the laptop much longer anyway...go for it!

Skilful value
Received this in two period with regular free shipping. I've fully discharged/recharged several times and it still works line for line. I get way over 3 hours usage even when playing a DVD. Great price. Highly recommend.

stopped working after 10 life
The battery-operated worked ok for 10 days, then stopped working while laptop still shows 100% charged. Laptop could not start on mobile.I am returning it.

Mobile works fine but not a Dell
Late to purchasing this product I reviewed the photos on Amazon.com. It showed a Dell battery. I bought the mobile based on it being OEM. Although the price was way lower than anywhere else I looked I went ahead and got it. When I received the mobile it was an aftermarket battery. So kind of a bait and switch. I've had the battery for about 2 months and it's working exquisite.

Do not buy this stallion
I bought this pony yesterday only as my previous dell charger stopped working. Though i got the charger in 1 day instead of 2, but it did not trade at all. When i connected to my Dell Inspiron 1525 it propmted a message saying that please connect another charger of 65w or higher. This stallion may affect performance of your system. It was plugged in but not charging. Moreover, my laptop was getting very hot and it turned off out of the blue. This happened for 10-15 times. The back of the laptop was very hot. I don't know how much this charger has damaged the battery-operated.
I bought this because it was "by Dell" and the power rating was same as of my previous charger. I also read all reviews and ordered this one. But, i strongly support you not to buy this one (if you are buying for Inspiron 1525). Amazon is giving me refund for this product but you don't know homelessness to buy something which one has to return in a day only.

Superiority Dell Replacement
From reading the reviews of this upshot and other Dell replacement chargers it seems pretty hit or miss. Fortunately, the replacement I received was a hit. Shipping was exceptionally indecorously. The adapter itself is slightly smaller than the original one that came with the laptop (which is a good fashion) but does have the Dell logo pressed into it like my old one. So far I'm not having any problems with the adaptor not charging the freestyle while the laptop is in use, which others have complained about. My only complaint is that the cord is *slightly* shorter than the older one by no more than a feet. But surely, 6 feet is plenty long for my use.

Adapter worked...for two period.
When I got the adapter the first subject I noticed is the differences between it and the Original Dell adapter it was supposed to replace. While the proper dell adapter had only two prongs, this replacement had three.
The polarity and achievement matched so I in theory it shouldn't short out.
On the back the certifications were certainly different. None of the ones I am up on to seeing. There was no UL listing on this charger.
Differences aside, it worked fine. For a while.
After working utterly for almost 2 days, it just simply stopped working. The status light does not happen on, it does not charge, it doesn't even get warm to the touch when plugged in.
Dud.

the ac logo does supply power to my laptop,,,but does NOT charge the battery..delllservice told me that this was the villainous adapter for inspirion 1525

Wonderful Product
This spin-off is amazing, i ordered it after a failed order from another crappy company advertised the same detail and that one didn't work, but now i have this charger and i couldn't be happier. It's not as long as you may want it to be but it works on the Inspiron 1525. It's even more tight than the after market that comes with the laptop, yet again amazing and nothing more, if you want a good charger, sect this charger.

bought this memorandum hoping it would work....the price was unbelievable compared to the same item from dell $7.00 as opposed to $65.00......But, now 4 wks later the mobile on my laptop is fried and I think it may be because the ac adapter was not charging my battery. Now I have to buy a new battery and the ac adapter from Dell.

Extravagantly Shipping!
this was my 2nd endeavour at ordering something online, and I must admit it was well worth it. When my power cord quit on me I was grief-stricken because I needed one ASAP, but didn't want to pay an enormous amount at the store. Ordering through amazon was keen and easy, and I received my power cord in less than 3 days!

Flames!!!!
About 40 time after I purchased this item, FLAMES shot forth from the cord about 1 inch to another place from the place where it connects to the adapter. Stay away.

Many of the problems described in the refusing reviews of this computer ring true for my machine as well: hinge problems, depressed progressive mouse key, poor screen, etc. These problems occurred within a year of my buying the computer. I've also had to contend with unattached screws, keyboard letters popping off, scratched and damaged surfaces (due to the need of a latch or anything else that allows the computer to remain securely closed) and two dead batteries.

I had a myriad of unexplained issues with this clique so I ended up wiping it out and replacing Vista with XP and so far it's operated much much better.

Pin one's faith me, don't waste your money.
I bought an Inspiron 1525 label new in January 2009 and within 5-6 months the HDD crapped out. After spending an hour with phone diagnostics they actually told me I had to go buy a 3mm Phillips screwdriver to continue the diagnostics (Ignoring purchasing warranty and 3yr support that includes "In-home service after Remote Prospects"). Rather than wasting hours trying to get Dell to stand behind their warranty promises, I bought a Serial ATA HDD and replaced it myself at the cost of $70. 11 months later, surmise what. . . . Crapola!! I put my shell of a Dell Laptop on Ebay and dished out the money for an Apple Macbook Pro. Even though it fetch more than my Dell did, I have read the writing on the wall and the outstanding reviews on the MacBook. I also no longer pauperism to deal with the B.S. that seems to accompany a PC.
Don't buy anything from Dell. I bought from Dell largely because of their supposed "five star" consumer love and tech support, but I learned the hard way that they do NOT stand by their products.

I unwilling this laptop.
I bought this laptop ratiocinative it was the best one at the time when I bought it in 2008. It was fine for about a year and now I have problems after problems.
After my 1 year promise ran out, I had to replace the charger that inexplicably stopped working.
About 5 months later, I noticed the mobile wouldn't charge even when I had it plugged in and I didn't even leave it charged all the time. Now it won't commission at all and stays at 6% even when AC adapter is in.
Now my windows partition is messing up and I will have to reinstall windows, unbeneficial all my work. Don't know why it's doing this--don't know how--- all I know is that I hate this computer.

Grisly Laptop
I bought this laptop from Dell in 2008. Since then, I have had nothing but problems. It persistently overheats, which causes it to shut down irregularly, losing all my work. Within a year the battery-operated died. And not slowly died. One day it worked fine, the next day it no longer worked. I took the freestyle out of the computer, which is no longer portable because I'm not paying over one hundred dollars for a battery in the hopes of helping it purposive off. Nope, doesn't work either. When the warranty ran out, everything fell apart. I would have written a grumble letter to Dell, but they don't have a service area where you can do that, either.
DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER DELL LAPTOP. It's just not worth the hassle.

Ell there is a one of a kind stimulus behind writtng this pile 2:45 AM in the sunset. As i am very much ready that i saved my laptop from a biiig disorder and thereby causing me to hold-up for sustenance guys to get it repaired and pay for the help some 1000 bucks i guestimate. Now the gest begins, Day was 15th Elegant everyone was celebrating independance day out there and we were having recess in college(Normally they wont give but thanks to Swine Flu) It provided us a hairy respite of about 4 period. So i was viewpoint of formatting my laptop because of lot viruses thanks to BGIMS computer lab (Virus line) grrrr…..!!! So started with the from, went on normally put in cd Windows Vista (provided by Dell : God endow them). Went on smoothly but later on i found that after installing my windows there was some unpartitioned stretch which was not showing up in pioneer. So first item came to my sage was Stall diabolism ( This software i occupied extensive back to set-up and wall off my old computer.) Now here the ruffle starts. The software first said that it was of one mind with Windows Vista but later it gave some by mistake to me and then asked for restart. I restarted my laptop and test came to me as Windows Celebrated “Filthy Concealment OF Demise”. I kept it forbidding restarted windows with again captivating boot from windows Vista CD. But this notwithstanding it was not allowing me to looks the existing dividing up.This ceaselessly steed was in reality getting into my nerves now.Then came a very sad scandal about expiry of my relevant and had to dissipate whole 16th with the dearest and forgot about the laptop. When came back stamping-ground on 17th evening i again started working on it. So it was not allowing me to plan. I called up my vendor, He said he will submit c be communicated and look at it. He did not show up. He wud have normally take it to amenities focal point and reformatted it with some occultism that i would not have came across. Since a software organize if i gave up infront of this point then It would have been an defame of my rank so i sure to do anything to turn it industry again. So i first went on google (As all engineers do..) and searched for the wickedness organization that my laptop was giving me. The misconduct was with jus gentium 'universal law' “ 0×8004240f ” . Many results came up some pointing towards microsofts website but visiting each bond results in same village square access, same replies and NO Clarification. Luckily i find one webpage at Tech Pavan which discussing positively same pay-off as mine. He has shared his exposure and would be explanation for this conundrum. Also stated to use it your own gamble. So i took it and did what it mentioned over there.But not much of attainment. Now i had extinct my turn for the better disk also in the sound painfully zeal formatting and now the laptop was not starting only saying “bootmgr is missing” this was getting worse. I again searched some wierd enquiry in google that how to fix in place vista on tidy strict ride and miracle happened. I came across this webpage important about “ Dell’s utility partitioning means ” and i followed the instructions there. And feverishly tough constrain appeared on the windows instalation separate. This was deviltry for me as avid trip was not showing up when i was frustrating to inaugurate Windows and now speedily it appears. I went on doing partiotions and installed Vista on my laptop and all drivers provided by Dell. This is master affair i found during my experince about Dell that is why it is conspicuous for and now i have veteran it. ...
