You get what you pay for....
Some serious problems: If I bung the adapter in, I have to take out the battery or the computer, for whatever reason, switches back and forth from battery to AC every few seconds. Not honourable. When I use the adapter, my touchpad mouse completely goes crazy. I use the battery or the aboriginal adapter, and everything's fine. The adapter gets incredibly hot. Not good for me. Maybe you'll have wagerer luck!

Equitable what I wanted
at first I was skeptical about this power stock, then I thought, what the hell, it's cheap. It works well and is cheap, what else can I say
I would recommend this to others with a gateway laptop who miss a new power supply

This was a replacement for a Gateway laptop power provision that went bad. I purchased this item because it was priced lower than all others items on the internet for my laptop. I have had it for three weeks and it works well-made. The unit does not have a power light like the one it replaced, which was nice because you could direct if the old unit was getting power when plugged in. However plugging the unit into the laptop will cause my laptops charging slight to come on, so not a real big deal. The weird thing with this unit is now when plugged into the palisade next to my desk, the TV on a different wall outlet starts getting a little impedance. I unplug the power supply and the interference goes away. I use wired internet and when the power accumulation is closer to the Ethernet cable the interference increases. This never happed with the old unit. I pattern this units wiring might not be as shielded as the original power supply from gateway but overall it works.

A: Last year's image with screen issues? You would be very lucky to get 1/4 of what you paid for it. Get the scan taken care of if it's still under warranty and you might get 1/3 on a good day....
