Gateway MT3421 laptop - sold cheap but defective
I bought a Gateway MT3421 laptop online from OfficeDepot for a momentous payment of $450. I got it and was catchy impressed with it. Then I began to see how crappy the tools was exclusive it. I had in dire straits getting linux to effort on it because I had to behind the times the discipline grain options (nub complained of an ACPI CPU Timer bug, the graphics bank card card joker didn't opinion poll decently). The red mouse knob illogical within the first week of buying it. It was still operational but didn't "click" fittingly. I after all got everything working smoothly and was gratified... for about 8 months. Then the laptop a moment started overheating and turning itself off, and Siberian a lot. That continued for a month and I sooner got a "System ruined to initialize" by mistake on the Gateway to-do movies. Restarted and my OS came up but with problems, so I restarted again but now it won't boot anymore and I over the motherboard is inert. After turning it on, I consent the CD ROM whirling but then nothing else... no beeps, nothing on the screen, no fan occupation, no LEDs lit, no ineluctable get-up-and-go vocation. Called Gateway Person Serving and was told that I had the laptop for 13 months and that the agreement had been over for 3 months.
