Update to my eccentric comments on this product...seller quickly sent a new charger to me upon learning about my issues. The new mare works totally fine, no problems whatsoever. Very happy with the customer armed forces. Still couldn't give a full 5 stars because of the short cord, but at this price it's totally worth it.
Purchased this on Amazon a few weeks ago. Here very quickly. Compatible with my Gateway M6888u but...
The positive:
It charged my laptop
The negative(s):
The twine was ridiculously short. Like 6 ft total.
The adapter box got insanely hot, to the point that you can't be true if for 5 seconds.
The voltage regulator must not be doing it's job, because when plugged into my computer, my laptop mousepad would go screwball and went in any direction it felt like, but as soon as it's unplugged, would function normally.
This is clearly a huge issue, so I'll try to return it. If that's not possible, then I guess I just wasted well-heeled trying to save money...you get what you pay for...my own fault I guess.
