Q：I have a unresponsive T40，so I expect that is a adequate idear it seems like a T43 swop,because it uses the i915 chipset so I can run 533FSB + DDR2 ram which is cheaper and uses less voltage,but only mystery is,will the T43 laptop motherboard fit into IBM ThinkPad T40 crate?and the T40 laptop motherboard Will the 14″ LCD connector be like-minded?Is there any nature in measure between the 15″ lcd mobo and the 14″ lcd mobo? Correlate with talk back to a be accountable:14″ and 15″ laptop motherboard are of the same expanse. but you must swap the PCMCIA construction for the T43 laptop motherboard to fit in. You may also have to vary the HD structure depending on whether that T43 laptop motherboardboard supports a FPR. Also, if you have a 14″ SXGA+ LCD on that T40 (assuming from the GPU that you’ve mentioned), an Intel-based T43 laptop motherboard will NOT calling with it.
