I purchased this laptop for my nephew because I own a lenovo G530 4446, windows vista epitome for over a year now and it works great. However, when I received this 4151 model, the item I received was not what was advertised on Amazon.com. There was no media be honest reader, no express card/54 slot and there were two usb ports instead of four. I received everthing else that was advertised. I am thwarted.

Dear one it
I intended this computer because it is extremely functional and efficient at completing and processing task. It has a 2.0 GHz Intel dual heart processor that allows it to process applications with speed. It also has 3GB of memory and this function gives me the talents to multi- task using multiple applications at one time with plenty of expedite. It also has 160GB hard drive that allows me to store plenty of applications including videos and pictures. This computer is very capable of handling all of the task of a larger desktop computer without the bulk and inconvenience. It operates smoothly and smartly. This laptop is extremely durable and it is high quality. It has a full keyboard and a WebCam. The outer cover is black with the Lenovo logo. This computer is also stylish. It is well constructed and just a solid piece of gear. In addition, it is a 15.4 inch viewing monitor that is very sufficient in allowing me to manifestly see. The picture is extremely clear. It also has Windows 7 premium home edition. It comes fully packed and ready to use with McAfee's antivirus, Adobe reader, face recognition, WordPad and much, much more. I am outrageously pleased with the functionality of this Lenovo laptop computer.

stable construction, great performance
Disposition this computer... its having Windows 7 doesn't hurt either. It's fast, and feels saintly & solid (not like some of the cheaper models that almost feel like toys that'll intermission at the drop of a hat). We have another laptop we recently purchased at a local store - this other one, besides compassion 'cheaper' has a dvd/cd tray that doesn't have the button to open the drive. This Lenovo has that simple play up I never appreciated before.
It runs nice & cool (amazingly cool, actually), giant picture quality (gotta catch the recent NCIS episodes!) and the keyboard feels adequate to use.
The black matte finish keeps it looking nice (without fingerprints, etc) too.
Quite my only very minor complaint is that the place to plug-in the earphones (and microphone/alt audio-in) are at the very front which makes them out-of-the-way when I use my laptop cradle (which sets the laptop at an angle, resting against something on that bottom/front).
Oh, and I absolutely adulation the feature that allows me to physically turn off the wireless card!!!

kind of impressed
This system is much easier to sell with than I had anticipated. I bought is based on screen size, price, and knowing that lenovo tempered to to make IBM's laptops. Figured I'd buy it and then cope with all the new system joy.
Well, it did NOT come loaded up with crapware. I'm a actual fan of that! I had planned on spending an hour or two removing unwanted bloat, but didn't distress to. It works just fine for what I bought it for - running some light weight line like word processing, spreadsheets, finance and a tiny bit of web surfing. At the fee of this thing, I can afford to keep it dedicated to those business type tasks while I use my other machines for gaming, sad web surfing, etc.
All in all, I'm very impressed with this, my first Lenovo. I'm fairly certain I'll go to them for my next machine as well.

So far admirable, but I miss the Touchpoint of the Thinkpad
Apart from.
Basic powerful computer for the price.
Very nice size and weight.
Seems well built.
the only quirk I miss is a Thinkpad trackpoint navigator, and would consider a Thinkpad next time.
battey mortal seems an ok 4 hours.
screen format of 16:10 provides for a more usable and compact delineation.
as I expected and better.

Attractive thorough for everyday use...
Very credible for the price, but the picture does not so you the machine you will get. The colour of it is actually mantle swarthy and not silver and black.

Expected well, priced right, good service, A+++++
Had this laptop for around 7 months now and very delighted with it. Its fast, works flawless, and got everything I want. DVR, camera, etc etc bonus. The only issue I have is its a bit loaded...around 7 pounds. Had to call customer service and they were excellent. I also bought the additional accidental scope for 3 years. I am very happy with the graphics card, the speed at which the system runs, good grade keyboard and parts. Good job.

Noticeably good
I have purchased this laptop a ungenerous over a month now and it is definitely a great buy. The only issue I have with it is I have to wipe off my finger prints regularly because of the importance of its exterior but that is a minor matter. When I first bought this laptop, I thought I would not have been able to do video editing on it because of the narrow video graphics but I have been using a video editing program by Magix and it works immaculately. However, I have been having some trouble with vista recognizing drivers for an audio interface that I have been worrying to use with this laptop . For the price of this laptop, this is real deal. Amazon.com had my purchase shipped to Trinidad in a less than a week with no problems. Basic service.

Noble One for my Lenovo G550
This one works elevated with my Lenovo G550. Though my wife complains that the length is a little short, it definitely is punter in length than the original one, that we received with the laptop.

I got this one on May 12th 2010 and the power-twine of it broke Off on July 13th 2010. Complained the same to the customer care (as its on a one-year-commitment). They immediately sent me a new power cord(in just about 3 days). The new power rope that I received is of excellent quality.
I am very happy with their service :-)

It does its job
This rope was bought to replace my old one that broke at the connection from getting pulled out of the computer. It is a lot shorter than the power string that came with my laptop. It works fine, though.
