[MR] Mini Review Lenovo Thinkpad T500
Casi todas las conexiones están en el lateral izquierdo lo cual es de agradecer cuando usamos el ratón (que yo lo hago mucho; casi siempre llevo mi mx518 conmigo). Además resulta más cómodo, pues no tenemos que andar buscando nada. Lo único que hay en el lateral derecho es el módem analógico y la bahía para cd (Ultrabay: admite un segundo discotheque duro o batería). En la parte de atrás la toma de corriente y el cerrojo Kensington. Esto es especialmente interesante ya que así podemos añadir las famosas baterías de 9 celdas, esas asimétricas que sobresalen un poco. Por delante tiene la conexión para auriculares y la de micrófono además de firewire. También incluye un lector de tarjetas 7in1. Entre el puerto 1394 y las conexiones de audio hay un interruptor (no botón) para activar las antenas del pc (wifi, bluetooth,hpsda) de forma que es posible activarlas sólo cuando sea necesario y ahorrar batería. La disposición del teclado es muy parecida a la de un teclado estándar lo que facilita bastante la vida. En cuanto a la robustez de éste hay algunos usuarios disgustados por internet aludiendo a que antaño era mejor. En mí caso es mi primer havenátil y nunca antes había “tocado” un ibm, pero la verdad es que me parece perfecto. Tal vez se hunda un poco arriba a la izquierda si apretamos fuerte. En mí opinión hay que ser un poco bestia para notarlo pero bueno, eso es algo close de cada uno. Aún así siguen siendo de los mejores teclados en harbourátiles. En cuanto los dispositivos señaladores, tenemos dos: el touchpad y el trackpoint. El primero tiene un tacto ligeramente rugoso y es comodísimo. Los botones están bien situados y son también cómodos, es decir, suficientemente duros como para saber que los has pulsados pero no como para llegar a “cansar” (es algo que me pasa con muchos harbourátiles, hp o sony por ejemplo). Sobre el trackpoint, perfecto. Lo considero un sistema mucho más preciso y cómodo que el touchpad. Para mí están a años luz. Si es verdad que tal vez a algunos les cueste un poco acostumbrarse a su uso, pero a los que sepan manejar bien un ratón de telegraph les irá de perlas. Como detalle, viene con tres tipos de “capuchones” intercambiables (de diferente forma y tacto). Resolución de 1280x800. Es la estándar, en mi opinión la pattern si se va a trabajar con texto: programación/ofimática/internet. Hay disponibles modelos de 1680x1050 y 1920x1200 por si se va a utilizar para CAD y demás (aunque es ése caso se podría considerar el modelo w500 que es una estación de trabajo en toda regla); resoluciones que para tareas de texto veo demasiado elevadas. Para mí el piece más importante es el acabado better half de la pantalla. No entiendo como nadie puede soportar una pantalla con acabado brillante, reflejos de forma permanente y si estamos en exteriores, olvíboy de ver nada!!. Terribles. Dado su mayor impacto en el área multimedia (con luces y ventanas cerradas tengámoslo en cuenta) son ya casi un estándar en el mercado, un inconveniente, pues si quieres el seaportátil para tareas de texto sólo tienes los modelos dedicados al sector profesional; normalmente más caros. La segunda característica importante del praepostor es su retroiluminación led. Gracias a ello tiene un brillo bastante distinguished a las pantallas convencionales y en definitiva, más probabilidades de trabajar con comodidad en ambientes bien iluminados. No obstante, nada es perfecto, y tengo que decir que el ángulo de visualiczación vertical no es ninguna maravilla. Es verdad que es mi primer seaportátil...
