Prodigious for daily use, reasonable price
Suitable for full-time usage, great performance with graphic design tools. Only 2 things let down me:
- It is heavy to carry, if I attend a meeting out of the office it's hard to walk more than 3 blocks without trial its weight.
- The battery life was shorter than expected; almost 1 year after, it only worked for 15 minutes.
Nevertheless it is a gifted product for a reasonable price.

I bought this lap top 2 yrs ago. It looked faultless n since its sony i trusted the brand. It came with preloaded windows vista and it never ran fast and also lotta throw away program loaded with it I couldnt remove. Also left click started not working suitably after 8 mos. I sent to sony service 2 times to get it fixed they sent me back n said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Then my agreement expired
Another problem with almost any sony products working with their own battery is they all have short battery duration. I dont think I ll buy sony again

THE prevalent disappointment of electronic equipment ive EVER owned
From day one, this was a bonified Lemon ; I bought this new. Numbingly stupid, doesnt always connect to Verizons aircard, doesnt always connect to websites, drops out the aircard while using the part, poor connections in ALL of the USB ports using the aircard, screen goes profound all of a sudden, hard drive goes south a few days out of warranty and Most excellently Buy doesnt come thru on it, new drivers added per Geek Squads request to redress its performance...but didnt, doesnt always cut copy and paste, some board keys dont vocation, 4 screws on the underneath of the unit were stripped and fell out by themselves., cant always scroll up or down, stalls in the middle of a website, and a few other things im not remembering. Ive got $900 into this junky sentiment and its a tad over 2 years old. Sony should be ashamed of their quality control .

Tiptop computer, beautiful design, wish Sony would bring back the Wenge Brown, much nicer than the Walnut fulfil on the NW series.
I looked for a Wenge Brown VAIO NR series laptop for months. ultimately found & bought this Wenge Brown VAIO from SPDDYS an Amazon Marketplace seller who specializes in painful to find new in box laptops & other technology.

Retard AWAYYYYYY from this laptop
My relations and I have been DIE hard sony consumers, buying all our tv's, stereos, vcr, dvd, etc. Even found a sony phone and bought that. My last vaio is over 5 yrs old and still runs. However this computer is the sure statement in a long but ultimately bbbbbbbbbb (oh sorry, that is the B key coming loose and me re-securing it, happens about every 5 min) is the ending of a eat one's heart out but failed legacy. Sony has definitely lost their touch. I can't speak for all their products, but this computer and a wireless router I bought a few years ago are both Execrable. This computer is not built to handle vista w/ 500MB of RAM. I upgraded to 2GB and it still can't really handle it all that well. But more importantly, my nourisher board crashed, the left speaker failed, my CD/DVD combo drive unreservedly won't work anymore, the left mouse clicker is dead, keys on loose all the time, the backlight just turned off once, and now my battery just fails, partly to 3/4 full and the computer just shuts off, doesn't save your session and standby when there's no mobile life, just shuts down. I think most likely, this computer was rushed to be an affordable chance that ran Vista, but the components are just AWFUL and this computer is just not built well in the midst of that impetuosity. Seriously, stay away, this computer will frustrate you, erase data, crash, go out, and just break your heart, it looks so cool, but it is AWFUL!
