You get what you pay for
The element was cheap and I needed one in a hurry since my power supply that came with it crapped out. This part gets REALLY hot and shuts down after a couple hours of use. Also, since I started using the section, the computer itself gets a lot hotter. I wonder if the output voltage is either higher or lower than specified for the computer. I have not been talented to measure the output voltage. I will most likely replace it very soon and keep this as an emergency back-up. Like I said it was easily so not worth returning.

Control superiors than OptimumSolution's power cord
My power line for my Sony laptop went out so I had to get a replacement. I bought the cheaper version of this product from OptimumSolution and it was vile! The first one they sent me didn't work at all and the replacement from OptimumSolution broke after a few months. If you are comparing these two, buy from TechnoEarth.
For this outcome, the connection into my computer is a little loose, but besides that, it's great.
