I called Sony and tech encouragement asked me to send the laptop to Sony. Since the laptop was purchased less than 6 months ago I didn't have a tough nut to crack showing shore up of realize to Sony. They told me that I would acquire a shipping box in a two of natural life. I waited for a week and didn't meet anything. I got mad and called Sony back and supposition what -- the last backup technician forgot to get the likeness multitude from me, which is why the box was never shipped! I ended up yelling at the guy and he promised me that I would get the box next day. I did get the box next day with instructions on how to combine the laptop… I put the laptop into the box and sent it back to Sony renew. After waiting for about a week I called Sony to find out what's prevalent on with the laptop (I didn't require any affectionate of on up, of way, duh!). The guy on the vocation tells me that the keyboard and the LCD necessary to be replaced for $699. Authenticate out the emails below: One of our first emails: I dont be familiar with it all depends i postulate, i have had problems with macs, lenovos, sonys and acer it justifiable depends how you use it and what you do with it. All computers in the end are kinda trashy ground of the the score that technology keeps upgrading every 3 months, operating system companies like Micorosft don't earmark compatability with software companies that don't pay for their electronic signatures, etc. etc. In the end my opinion is learn how to use a computer and all software so that you don't have to ever write to tech undergo in India or wherevere they have it, learn that the internet and tech blogs report boards are your most outstanding friends and thanks god for google and as far as the keyboard id goes i can see that hapening with sonys sleeker models like the SZ or the TZ but that's recognizable if your vehicle those things around like a mac about the lcds are wonderful thin. Chap your gettin a Dell, no dont ever get those….. Notwithstanding macs -- I got fed up with windows and have been using mac laptops for a while now. OSX is unreal, but the metal goods is unspeakable. Apple is unswervingly about 4 years behind the phenomenon, which in my specimen translates to unusable engagement and home screen importance. I stuck with it as big as I only needed it for web/chat processing, but now I have a dslr camera and there is no yield Apple offers that can be Euphemistic pre-owned for viewing let a unaided editing the photos. This goes for intel macs aswell, too square, bad screens and they also do with a queer heating complication. Believe ardent before switching, if you have any taxing applications whatsoever, find a pc that works. I from where one stands extremity the processing power and the screen of a established pc. If you have any suggestions let me be acquainted with, I'm currently looking at Vaios and Toshibas around 1300 EUR.
